Iced Coffee Lemonade
Brighten your brew with lemonade and a splash of sparkling water
It may seem an unlikely combination, but adding lemonade to your iced coffee creates a bold, tangy and delicious drink. Think of it as an Arnold Palmer, with strong coffee instead of black tea.
How to Make Iced Coffee Lemonade
STEP ONE
To make homemade lemonade, first make simple syrup by bringing sugar and water to a boil until sugar dissolves. Let cool.

STEP TWO
Juice lemons.

STEP THREE
Stir together water, simple syrup and lemon juice.

STEP FOUR
To make the iced coffee lemonade, fill a glass with ice.

STEP FIVE
Pour double-strength coffee and lemonade over the ice.

STEP SIX
Add a splash of sparkling water.

STEP SEVEN
Serve and enjoy.

FOR HOMEMADE LEMONADE
Makes About 3 Cups
What You’ll Need
¼ cup white sugar
2 cups water
¼ cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
How To Make
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and ¼ cup of the water. Stir over medium heat until sugar has dissolved into simple syrup, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
In a pitcher or large jar, add remaining water, the simple syrup and lemon juice. Stir to combine. Store in an airtight container, refrigerated, for up to 3–4 weeks.
